"Off-the-Shelf" Products are great - until they're not.

When you have a standard room, open space, and you just want some shelves, standardized products are great. But when you're trying to fill a room with useful space - useful to you - trying to mix and match standard products is usually more stressful than useful. I'll build you a set of cabinets and shelves based on what you tell me you're going to use them for.

My goal is to deliver the product that meets your needs, in whatever style and material you prefer. You don't have to be confined to what is in the ordering catalog anymore. 

Oak, Maple, Cedar... Cocobolo?

Never heard of cocobolo wood? There are dozens of wood types and grain patterns, in addition to the many stains and finish options available. If you have an idea of what you want your finished product to look like, I can help you select the right type of wood for the fit and finish you're after. 

Already have a type of wood or finish in mind? I'll happily advise you on the benefits/drawbacks of the wood type, and go over the various finish options. From shiny shellac to painted finishes, each type of wood has its own strengths and weaknesses. 

Sometimes it's the Little Things...

This small piece was requested by a customer to hide the wall outlets and plugs for their entertainment system. The extra storage is just an added bonus. The mantle now looks like a finished piece, and it's functional!

This is one of the great benefits of custom work. This custmer knew exactly what they wanted - to make use of that bland, empty wall space. We worked together to design the cabinet, and when it was finished they were very happy with their new storage.
